What does OFA Impact do?
OFA organizes its own social projects and initiatives, including the OFA+ Street Stations. At the same time, we provide information about existing support services and organizations and connect people with appropriate resources. We also collaborate with associations, social institutions, businesses, and other organizations to implement joint projects.
Who can use OFA's services?
Our services are generally aimed at all people who need support. As a rule, no proof of income, social benefits, or personal circumstances is required for our activities. Anyone who needs help can take advantage of it.
How do I find out when and where a Street Station event takes place?
We announce the dates of our Street Stations both on our website and on Instagram. However, we don't publish the exact address. Before each Street Station, we put up flyers with all the details, including the address, at various social service agencies and contact points, such as food banks or the eva. This way, we make sure the Street Stations primarily reach the people they're meant for.
How can I donate goods to the Street Stations?
Before each Street Station, we share information on our website and on Instagram. which items are currently needed. Since needs can change from one event to the next, we ask that you only donate what's currently listed. Based on experience, we mainly need food and hygiene products. Clothing is donated very frequently, so it's not requested at every Street Station. If you'd like to donate something, just write to us. We'll then arrange a suitable time for the handover.
How are donations used at OFA?
We distribute donated goods directly to people during our events. Monetary donations are used to cover our organization's operating costs and to purchase necessary materials for our events, such as food and hygiene products. All monetary donations are recorded, and their use is transparently documented.
How can I volunteer at OFA?
When we are looking for volunteer support for an event, we publish a corresponding appeal via Instagram. and on vostel.de. There you will find all the information about the respective promotion and can register directly.
Can I reach out to OFA directly if I need help?
Yes, just reach out. We'll look together at what's possible, whether that's support from us directly or connecting you with someone who can help.
What does it cost to use OFA's services?
Our OFA+ Street Stations are completely free. All food, hygiene products, clothing, and other donated goods offered there are free to take. Even if you contact us directly with a request for assistance, there will be no costs to you. For individual projects or events, certain items may be subject to a fee or donation-based. We will always inform you about this in advance.
